This model was used by TEAM ALINGHI at the Americas Cup 2007 – when they also won.

This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Alinghi (26062FS) has a 44mm round shape forged carbon case on a black “Hornback” crocodile strap with matching RED stitching with Steel Deployment Clasp.  A fixed forged carbon bezel punctuated with 8 signature screws. Sporting a black dial that features white luminous Arabic numerals, red chronograph seconds hand, red surrounds, Alinghi Team logo at 3 o’clock, a wedge-shaped 10-minute regatta countdown aperture between 1 and 3 o’clock, a 20-minute register at 9, and a 6-hour chrono-register at 6 o’clock. The hands for the chronograph indicators are shaped like a ship’s prow while the minute and hour hands are skeletonized —with luminous material on the tips— to allow for a view of the regatta countdown indicator at all times.

This is all protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an AP engraved screw locked crown and solid (engraved features a relief motif of the Alinghi Team in action) case back.   It houses the Audemars Piguet calibre AP 2326 / 2848 automatic self-winding movement and has a power reserve of approximately 40 hours.  Water resistant at 100 meters.
