The Longines Spirit Zulu Time 42mm (reference L3.812.4.63.6) is a premium, aviation-inspired GMT timepiece crafted from brushed and polished stainless steel. The case measures 42.00 mm in diameter, 13.90 mm thick, and features a lug-to-lug distance of 49.40 mm with a 22 mm lug width. Protecting the dial is a domed sapphire crystal with multi-layered anti-reflective coating on both sides. A bidirectional rotating steel bezel with a scratch-resistant green ceramic insert frames the face, featuring an engraved 24-hour scale filled with gold-colored lacquer to assist in tracking multiple time zones simultaneously.
The aesthetic is defined by a sandblasted anthracite grey dial adorned with applied gilt Arabic numerals and polished yellow-gold-tone hands, all heavily coated in Super-LumiNova for high visibility. At its core, the watch is powered by the COSC chronometer-certified Longines Calibre L844.4 automatic movement. This high-performance “true” GMT movement offers an independently adjustable local hour hand, a robust 72-hour power reserve, and a silicon balance spring for enhanced magnetic resistance.Built for daily utility, the case features a screw-in crown and a solid, six-screw case back engraved with the historic Longines winged hourglass globe motif, ensuring a water resistance rating of 100 meters.
The timepiece is fitted with a matching stainless steel bracelet featuring a triple safety folding clasp. This bracelet incorporates a built-in interchangeable quick-release system, allowing the wearer to swap straps instantly without the use of specialized watchmaking tools.
