The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.002 was created to celebrate 60 years of James Bond and represents one of the most distinctive modern interpretations of Omega’s legendary professional dive watch. Introduced in 2022, the design pays tribute to the Seamaster worn by James Bond in GoldenEye while incorporating Omega’s latest Master Chronometer technology.
The watch is presented in a 42mm stainless-steel case and features a beautiful blue oxalic anodised aluminium dial with laser-engraved waves. Unlike the ceramic dial of the regular contemporary Diver 300M, the aluminium construction gives this special edition a softer, more vintage-inspired appearance. The matching blue anodised aluminium bezel features a commemorative “60” in place of the traditional inverted triangle at 12 o’clock.
One of the most distinctive elements is the stainless-steel mesh bracelet, inspired by the titanium mesh bracelet of the Seamaster worn by Bond in No Time To Die. It gives the watch a particularly purposeful appearance while differentiating it immediately from the conventional Seamaster Diver 300M bracelet.
The sapphire exhibition caseback provides another unique feature. Omega created a mechanical animation inspired by the famous James Bond gun-barrel opening sequence. As the lollipop seconds hand rotates, a moiré-effect animation on the caseback creates the impression of Bond’s silhouette moving against the spinning gun-barrel design.
At its heart is the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, a self-winding movement with approximately 55 hours of power reserve. METAS certified, it provides exceptional precision, magnetic resistance and reliability. The watch also retains the professional credentials of the Seamaster Diver 300M, including a helium escape valve and water resistance to 300 metres.
