The Panerai Radiomir 42 Ref. PAM00338 is a beautifully understated interpretation of Panerai’s historic military diving watches, combining the elegance of the original Radiomir design with the lightweight practicality of titanium. Its more compact 42mm proportions offer a refined alternative to the larger Panerai models while retaining the distinctive character and heritage that have made the Radiomir collection so recognisable.
Presented in a 42mm brushed titanium cushion-shaped case, the PAM00338 features the classic Radiomir architecture with slender wire-style strap attachments and a traditional winding crown. Unlike the Luminor collection, the Radiomir does not incorporate Panerai’s signature crown-protection bridge, giving the watch a cleaner, more elegant silhouette closely associated with the brand’s earliest designs.
The black dial embodies Panerai’s minimalist design philosophy, featuring large luminous Arabic numerals at 12, 6 and 3 o’clock, prominent hour markers and a subsidiary seconds display at 9 o’clock. The absence of a date complication maintains the dial’s symmetry and reinforces its vintage-inspired character.
At its heart is the Panerai Manufacture Calibre P.999/1, a beautifully engineered hand-wound mechanical movement developed specifically for the smaller Radiomir models.
