The IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XVIII Ref. IW327002 is a refined interpretation of IWC’s historic aviation watches, drawing direct inspiration from the legendary Mark XI. Its design is deliberately restrained and functional, reducing the traditional pilot’s watch to its essential elements while maintaining the unmistakable character of IWC’s celebrated Pilot’s collection.
The watch is presented in a beautifully proportioned 40mm stainless-steel case with a thickness of approximately 11mm. Its clean dimensions make the Mark XVIII exceptionally versatile and comfortable on the wrist, while the screw-down crown and robust construction reinforce its aviation-inspired tool-watch heritage.
This particular reference features an elegant silver dial with contrasting black Arabic numerals, black hands and the characteristic triangular orientation marker at 12 o’clock. A discreet date aperture at 3 o’clock provides useful everyday functionality without compromising the clean, highly legible layout.
At its heart is the IWC Calibre 30110, a self-winding mechanical movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and providing approximately 42 hours of power reserve. The movement is protected by a soft-iron inner case designed to provide resistance against magnetic fields.
The convex sapphire crystal features anti-reflective coating on both sides and is specially secured against displacement caused by sudden drops in air pressure, a characteristic feature of IWC’s purpose-built Pilot’s watches. Water resistance is rated to 60m.
