The black dial features striking red accents inspired by Ferrari’s racing heritage, with the famous Prancing Horse emblem prominently displayed at 12 o’clock. The chronograph minute counter is positioned at 3 o’clock, with running seconds at 9 o’clock. A tachymeter scale provides an additional motorsport-inspired function, allowing average speed to be calculated over a measured distance.
At its heart is the Panerai Calibre OP XIX, a COSC-certified self-winding mechanical chronograph movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and providing approximately 42 hours of power reserve. Its defining complication is the flyback chronograph, allowing the wearer to reset and immediately restart the chronograph with a single push of a button, without first stopping the timing mechanism.
The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, while the specially designed caseback incorporates Ferrari branding and the iconic Prancing Horse emblem. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres, providing practical everyday durability.
Originally presented on a black leather strap with contrasting stitching and a personalised folding clasp, the FER00030 combines traditional Italian craftsmanship with the distinctive sporting character associated with Ferrari.
