The TUDOR Black Bay Ceramic Ref. M79210CNU-0001 is a bold and highly technical interpretation of the celebrated Black Bay, combining Tudor’s unmistakable dive-watch heritage with contemporary materials and advanced chronometric performance. Its monochromatic execution gives the watch a stealthy, purposeful character while retaining the familiar proportions and design language of the Black Bay collection.
The 41mm monobloc case is crafted from matt black ceramic with a micro-blasted finish, giving the watch a distinctive texture and exceptional resistance to everyday surface wear. It is complemented by a black PVD-treated steel unidirectional bezel fitted with a black ceramic 60-minute insert, creating a cohesive all-black aesthetic.
The domed black dial continues the monochromatic theme, featuring Tudor’s signature Snowflake hands and highly legible hour markers. Despite the restrained colour palette, the contrasting finishes and luminous detailing ensure excellent readability while giving the watch a particularly modern and technical appearance.
At its heart is the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5602-1U, a self-winding mechanical movement offering approximately 70 hours of power reserve. Significantly, the Black Bay Ceramic was Tudor’s first model to achieve METAS Master Chronometer certification in addition to COSC certification. The movement is also highly resistant to magnetic fields and can be viewed through the sapphire crystal exhibition caseback.
The watch is fitted to a hybrid leather and rubber strap with a black PVD-treated folding clasp. An additional black fabric strap with a contrasting cream band forms part of the original configuration. With 200 metres of water resistance, the Black Bay Ceramic retains the genuine diving capability expected from the collection.
